V-berth up forward

Forepeak before renovation
The synthetic plastic water tank has been removed, cleaned and provided with new stainless steel connections. The bulkhead has been strengthened at its hull attachments since 60 litres of moving water can put a severe strain on the bulkhead. Furthermore the water tank has also been insulated with aluminium/air (bubble) foil.

Forepeak after renovation
All woodwork including the anchor hatch has been replaced with new 8 mm sipo mahogany plywood. The base boards for the V-berth are made of 12 mm plywood. The hull interior is of course also covered with moist- and dirt resistant upholstery fabric
Me, working in the up forward
Proving its really me who's doing all (or most, at least) of the work myself - for those who have any doubts ;-) By the way, this picture shows you my work on the bottom hatch plate of the toilet base.

General overview cabin interior
Right! This part of the renovation is now virtually complete. Next comes the galley, the cabin sole, and of course all exterior and deck fittings.
